Do you think I can do this?

Do you think I can do this? I'm 26 still living with my mom never been away from home. I want to try living in a supervised apartment for a start. I do have disabilities. I have a hearing loss and epilepsy my epilepsy is under control. I do have a job. My mom has trouble letting me go I'm the only child. I want to live independently without her help. I will still help her out every week. My mom is not easy to agree on things I am an adult I dont want to stay their when I'm 27. I need to make my own decisions whether she likes it or not. I could also start by living with a friend temporarily. What do I do if she disagrees? She has to let go. She can be overprotective I'll still be close to her I'll always love and appreciate her.
