Should I tell my parents that i'm not a christian?
I live with two religious Lutheran parents, and with easter coming up, im not sure i can keep up my charade for much longer. After realizing that i never really thought about my religion, it just never made sense to me, so instead of being a lutheran, im now a Wiccan. It's not that im not religious and want to go Christian bashing, it's just that i fell like going to Christian celebrations is a little sacrilegious. Plus im not sure how well my parents will take it, being this time of the season and they might just take it as an excuse for being lazy, and both of my parents come from strongly christian families and never once had another religion in it. I will be leaving for college in a year or so and was thinking of telling them when we are many many miles apart, but with applying for college it seems like telling them the truth might be easier just getting it off my back. Problem is wondering weather or not they will accept the wiccan religion as apart of my life as they perceive witchcraft to be the "Harry Potter" brand magic and trying to summon cuthulu, heck i look pretty borderline cultist to be perfectly honest. Just looking for a good answer (well, aren't we all here :P), and Blessed Be.
