They say i need a life since I follow my mom around?

I usually just see my boyfriend two days a week and since i live right beside my mom and step dad I go hang out with my mom all the other days. I would do something else or go hang out with friends but since I have epilepsy I got made fun of in school and I was homebound in high school since people bothered me about things and i always had to sit by myself at lunch. But, I'm 19 and don't drive because of my seizures so I just hang out with my mom and follow her around the house. Her and my stepdad say since all do is hang around the house with my mom when i'm not with my boyfriend I need a life. what should I think about that & can you give me ideas of things I could do? I'm just not an outside type of girl....thanks:)
