Can I mount a different engine in my F-150?

Not absolutely sure but the wiring harness for the 5.0 and other v8 engines you talked about are different than the harness for your F150.Sounds like a big headache to try a swap like that.Why not just try a bolt on aftermarket turbo or supercharger for the engine you have.It would be much cheaper and if you beef up the exhaust too it will greatly improve horsepower and torque.
