Jealousy in a relationship?!?

I've been with my parnter more over half a year now. Weve gotten very close, but my partners jelousy is getting out of hand. I dont hang out with the opposite sex at all, or hangout with anyone thats not him or family. He constantly asks WHAT IF questions about me ever doing stuff with other males & i feel like i cant have friends or go out. I also dont feel comfortable going to dinner or to the movies because he accuses me of staring at other males and checking them out :/. His self esteem isnt to good either. Im getting sick of this :/ hes NOT violent just gets sad & jelous! what can be done to fix this? or about this? THIS CANT POSSIBY BE NORMAL!
