Does having epilepsy effect your speech?

Epilepsy CAN do that, but this can also be an affect of a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury). I would have him go to the neurologist and ask for an MRI to check for damage to the speech sections of the brain. He could be experiencing a form of aphasia.
